1. Basic Concepts

The following basic concepts are used in this Policy:

• user — a natural person who has concluded/intends to conclude a contract with the Organization by agreeing to the terms of the public offer;

• collection of personal data — actions aimed at obtaining personal data (clause 5, Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.12.2022, No. 179-VII);
• blocking of personal data — actions to temporarily stop the collection, accumulation, modification, amendment, addition, use, dissemination, depersonalization and destruction of personal data (paragraph 3, Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.12.2022, No. 179-VII);
• destruction of personal data — actions, as a result of which it is impossible to restore personal data (paragraph 6, Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.12.2022, No. 179-VII);
• depersonalization of personal data — actions, as a result of which it is impossible to determine the belonging of personal data to the subject of personal data (paragraph 7, Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.12.2022, No. 179-VII).

2. General Provision

2.1. The Organization collects and uses your personal information for the sole purpose of providing you with the services you have requested, namely obtaining accreditation and related services within the framework of organizing and conducting the Eurasian Film Market.

2.2. Personal data allowed for processing under this Privacy Policy is provided by the User by filling in the registration form on www.eurasianfilmmarket.com and includes the following information:

• personal data: name, surname, gender, date of birth, photograph, information about the organization (place of work) and its field of activity, position, country of residence;
• contact information: contact phone number, e-mail;
• technical information: when you visit our website or use one of our applications, we may log your IP address, MAC address, browser type, operating system, the website you came from, web browser behavior and application usage; we may receive automatic notification when you open a newsletter or click on a link in a newsletter;
• Interaction Information: your feedback and email correspondence with the Organization;
• other information with which the User makes the Organization aware and which directly or indirectly relates to a specific person (the User).

2.3 By using the website www.eurasianfilmmarket.com and our/our mobile application/s, you agree that we may place cookies on your device, store and access cookies, IP addresses and use other methods to collect website usage data to improve your experience of using the website.

2.4 The Organization does not process personal data incompatible with the purposes for which it was collected. Unless otherwise provided by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, upon completion of processing of personal data, expiration of the established terms for processing of personal data, including when the purposes of their processing are achieved or when it is no longer necessary to achieve these purposes, the personal data processed by the Organization shall be destroyed or depersonalized.

2.5 When processing personal data, their accuracy, sufficiency and, if necessary, relevance to the purposes of processing shall be ensured. The Organization shall take the necessary measures to delete or clarify incomplete or inaccurate or redundant personal data.

2.6 Processing of personal data of Users of the Organization is possible only with their consent.

2.7 The Organization guarantees the security and confidentiality of the personal data used.

3. Transfer of personal data

When transferring the User's personal data, the Organization shall comply with the following requirements:

3.1 Not to communicate the User's personal data to a third party without his written consent, except for cases when it is necessary in order to prevent a threat to the life and health of the client, as well as in other cases provided for by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.12.2022 № 179-VII "On personal data and their protection".

3.2 Do not disclose the User's personal data for commercial purposes without the User's written consent.

3.3 To warn the persons who have received the User's personal data that such data may be used only for the purposes for which they have been communicated, and to require from these persons confirmation that this rule is observed. The persons who received the User's personal data are obliged to observe the regime of secrecy (confidentiality).

3.4 Allow access to the Users' personal data only to specially authorized persons, and these persons should have the right to receive only those personal data that are necessary for the performance of a specific function.

3.5. To transfer personal data of the client to his representatives in the order established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 30.12.2022 № 179-VII "On personal data and their protection" and to limit this information only to those personal data that are necessary for the performance of the specified representatives of their powers.
